Matthew Tabilog

Matthew Vincent Tabilog is a Filipino marine biologist, botanist, and MEXT Scholar pursuing a Master of Environmental Science at Hokkaido University, specializing in mangroves and seagrasses. He is the founder of Mangrove Matters PH and serves in leadership roles across international conservation networks, including the EAAFP Youth Task Force and Youth Engaged in Wetlands. Honored with Asia Pacific’s Sustainability Youth A-List Award, his work spans published research, environmental policy, and youth advocacy on global stages like Ramsar COP15.
